TDM Magic Flight Theatre

TDM Magic Flight Theatre Studio was founded in London by passionate creative individuals who wanted to express their artistic potential and bring people together through theatre.

It is a welcoming space where people of all backgrounds and experience levels can explore theatre, movement, and performance, develop their creativity, and discover their own artistic voice.

The studio is led by Ilona Stern, Director and Artistic Director of the London-based Magic Flight Theatre. Ilona is a well-known Latvian choreographer and theatre director with extensive international experience and the author of numerous musicals that continue to be performed in Latvia today.

Her work is strongly rooted in expressive stage movement and musical theatre, with a distinctive cabaret show style that combines emotion, storytelling, and visual performance.

One of her recent productions, the musical “All About Love”, was successfully staged at the Tea House and received strong audience acclaim.

Roman Thornton

Roman Thornton is an aspiring actor based in London, with a passion for storytelling and live performance. Though new to the professional stage, Roman has been involved in Goodge Street community theatre, Etcetera Theatre in Camden Town and Time Stream independent short films for the past three years. He is also a permanent dancer in Magic Flight musical company founded by a renowned choreographer, Ilona Stern. His journey into acting began with a local improv class, which sparked a deep love for the craft and a desire to explore characters and emotions through performance.
Roman has appeared in a variety of local productions, including roles in plays Matchmaking, The Cat’s House, Golden Goose, One Woman and Her Bitch, Troubled Love and the All About Love musical. He has also collaborated with student filmmakers and up-and-coming directors on short films, often taking on diverse roles that challenge his range and creativity.
With a background in business management and a natural talent for connecting with an audience, Roman brings authenticity, dedication, and energy to every role he takes on. Outside of acting, he continues to teach on University level programmes.
